What We Bring

As Much Or As Little As It Needs

Everything that goes into making a film, we do for a music video. No video needs all of it, the shoot gets built to fit the song and the budget, but nothing on this list has to be farmed out to somebody you have never met.

Before The Shoot

  • Concept and script writing
  • Casting
  • Location scouting
  • Scheduling
  • Agreements and call sheets

On The Day

  • Director
  • Assistant director
  • Camera
  • Lighting
  • On set sound
  • Everyone gets fed

Art And Effects

  • Set design and building
  • Props
  • Makeup
  • SFX makeup
  • Practical effects

Stills And Extras

  • Band and press photos
  • Behind the scenes photo
  • Behind the scenes video

We can also bring the cast. HorrorCore works with a standing lineup of actors who want the work, so you are not calling in favors or filling a room with your friends unless you want to. Tell us what the video needs and the people show up.

Built To Your Budget

HorrorCore shoots music videos the same way it shoots horror films, practical, on real locations, cut to the song instead of to a storyboard. The scale gets built around your budget, not the other way around, so the first step is a conversation about the track and the number you are working with.

Rubberneck was a built carnival with twenty three people in it. A single location, the band, and one good idea is also a real video. Both are jobs we take, which is why there is no package price list, tell us what you have to spend and you get an honest answer about what it buys.

  1. Send The Song

A link to the track, the release date you are working toward, and the number you have to spend. Unmastered mixes are fine, earlier is better.

  2. One On One

A call or a coffee. We talk through what the song is actually about, what you can already see in your head, and what is realistic to shoot for what you have.

  3. The Treatment And The Quote

You get it in writing, the concept, the look, the locations and a real number, before anybody commits to anything.

  4. Shoot And Deliver

We shoot it, cut it, color it and hand back masters in whatever format the release needs, plus vertical cuts for socials.
