Care and Cleaning
-
Regular Dusting: Begin by dusting off the canvas using a clean, dry cloth or a soft-bristle brush. This helps remove loose dirt and debris.
-
Spot Cleaning: If you notice any stains or spills on the canvas, act quickly to prevent them from setting. Blot the affected area gently with a clean cloth or sponge, using a mild detergent mixed with water. Avoid rubbing, as it may spread the stain. Rinse with clean water and blot dry.
-
Drying: After cleaning, let the canvas air dry by hanging it or laying it flat on a clean surface. Avoid using a dryer, or blow dryer as high heat may damage the fabric or cause it to shrink. If necessary, iron the canvas on a low setting while it is still slightly damp to remove wrinkles.
-
Storage: When not in use, store the canvas in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration and fading. Avoid folding, creasing or leaning anything against the canvas for long periods, as this can lead to permanent creases.
